The present invention relates to fruits of Poncirus sp. and Gardenia sp.having antibacterial activity and, more particularly, an antibacterial composition containing Poncirus sp. fruit extract and Gardenia sp.fruit extract which have an excellent antibacterial activity against super bacteria such as Bacillus anthracis and antibiotic resistant bacteria as well as general pathogenic bacteria. Since the composition has an excellent antibacterial activity against Bacillus anthracis and antibiotic resistant bacteria which are known for high lethality, the composition is able to be useful in preventing and treating infection diseases related to the bacteria and be used as a raw material of cosmetics or medicine.
