The present invention relates to a learning assistant apparatus using an electroencephalogram (EEG) signal and a virtual reality and a method thereof which can assist learning by displaying a learning guide through a virtual reality depending on whether a learner concentrates on learning, a change in interest or whether the learner recollects after detecting the EEG signal of the learner under study and movement of the learner′s eyeball based on a need.
