The present invention provides an effervescent tablet containing L-carnitine and a manufacturing method thereof. The effervescent tablet contains the citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, L-carnitine and food additives. The manufacturing method is to mix the aforementioned components of the effervescent tablet following with stirring performing the granulation after stirring and performing the pelletization after granulation.
