PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decomposition treatment method for hydrogen peroxide in seawater.SOLUTION: In one or a plurality of embodiments, a decomposition treatment method for hydrogen peroxide in seawater includes adding a reductant to seawater comprising hydrogen peroxide of 5-650 mg/L so that the concentration becomes a level obtained by increasing an equimolar equivalent of the hydrogen peroxide by 0.1-10 mmol/L.
