THE PRESENT INVENTION AIMS TO PROVIDE AN EXCELLENT SKIN CLEANSING AGENT WHICH HAS GOOD FOAM QUALITY WITH FINE TEXTURE, IS SUPERIOR IN FOAM DISCHARGING PERFORMANCE AT LOW TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS WHEN CHARGED IN A FOAMER CONTAINER AND CAN PREVENT SKIN DRY AFTER CLEANSING WITH THE SKIN CLEANSING AGENT AND TO PROVIDE A SKIN CLEANSING METHOD. MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A SKIN CLEANSING AGENT CONTAINING (A) A BETAINE-TYPE AMPHOTERIC SURFACTANT, (B) AN N-ACYLMETHYL TAURINE SALT, AND (C) AT LEAST ONE OF A POLYOXYETHYLENE ALKYL SULFOSUCCINATE AND AN ALKYL SULFOSUCCINATE, WHEREIN A MASS RATIO (C)/[(A) + (B)] OF THE (C) CONTENT TO THE (A) PLUS (B) CONTENT IS 0.05 TO 0.5, AND TO A SKIN CLEANSING METHOD USING THE SKIN CLEANSING AGENT.
