An open type loop ligation device for laparoscope comprises a tube body, a knotting device, a first control member, a second control member and a suture. The knotting device comprises a seat body and a sliding tube. The seat body is combined to the upper end of the tube body and has an outer hole, an inner hole and an upwardly protruding cantilever. One end of the cantilever extends to the top of the inner hole and is provided with a notch, and the notch is protruded downwardly with a U-shaped convex sheet. The sliding tube is inserted into the outer hole with the upper end protruding the seat body. The first control member having a first hook on its top is provided in the tube body, and has a first pull rod extending into the inner hole. The second control member having a second hook on its top is provided in the tube body, and has a second pull rod extending to below the sliding tube. After the suture is tied with a double sliding knot at the upper end of the sliding tube, one end of it is wound around the upper end of the first pull rod, and then passes downwardly through the sliding tube to the lower end and is tied with a tight 8-shaped knot for the hooking of the second hook. The other end of the suture forms a small loop for sleeving on the convex sheet of the cantilever. By controlling the first and the second control members, the suture can be controlled to ligate the blood vessel.
