Electrode voltage monitoring circuitry for an implantable neurostimulatorsystemhaving a plurality of electrode-driver integrated circuits (lCs) is provided.Electrodes from either or both ICs can be chosen to provide stimulation, andoneof the ICs acts as the master while the other acts as the slave. Electrodesvoltageson the slave IC are routed to the master IC, and thus the master IC canmonitorboth electrode voltages on the slave as well as electrode voltages on themaster.Such voltages can be monitored for a variety of purposes, and in particularuse ofsuch voltage is disclosed for determining the resistance between electrodesand toset a compliance voltage for stimulation.
