PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of permitting larger daily doses of an mTOR inhibitor and greater cumulative exposure to the drug than would be preferred on a 7-day/week schedule which is a simple schedule in common use without unduly increasing the risk of mouth sores, especially the risk of more severe grades of such mouth sores, and without impairing a treatment effect using the mTOR inhibitor.SOLUTION: A treatment method comprises a step of administering an mTOR inhibitor such as sirolimus, temsirolimus, everolimus, or AP23573 for four or five consecutive days per week, respectively, to a patient in need for treatment, and for the following three or two days, respectively, without treatment with the mTOR inhibitor.【課題】mTOR阻害剤治療の効果を損なうことなく、口内炎のリスク、特に、かかる口内炎のより重篤な段階のリスクを過度に増加させることなく、慣用の簡単な投与スケジュールである7日/週スケジュールで好ましかったであろうよりも、mTOR阻害剤の1日量を増加させ、より多い累積暴露が可能となる治療方法の提供。
