PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which allows even an inexperienced wearer to easily recognize a contour line of an absorbent core and reduces psychological burdens of positioning when putting the diaper on.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 includes an absorbent core 40a having a wide width part and a narrow width part where a length in a width direction of the absorbent core is the shortest. On a back sheet positioned closer to on a skin non-contact surface side than is the absorbent core 40a, mark patterns M11 and M12 indicating the position of the absorbent core are attached. The mark patterns are disposed at such positions that they do not overlap with product width direction outer side ends of the absorbent core.
