The present invention provides a composition for the treatment of a tumour,comprising: (i) allogeneic or xenogeneic tumour cells； and (ii) apharmaceutically acceptable excipient. If two or more heterozygous individualshave the same cancer/tumour of the same or similar histological grade, thentransplantation of tumour/cancer tissue/cells from one individual to anotherwill not only induce rejection of the transplanted tissue/cancer, but willalso increase the immunological awareness of the immune system to peptidesshared between the tumours/cancers and other tumours possessing similarpeptides.
