PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic apparatus capable of implementing accurate working distance matching without adding another optical system for projecting an index.SOLUTION: A fundus camera 1 as an ophthalmologic apparatus includes: a fundus camera optical system 79 capable of imaging a subject eye 28 index projection means for projecting an index used for working distance matching between the subject eye 28 and fundus camera optical system 79, on the subject eye 28 and working distance determination means for determining whether a working distance is appropriate or not from reflection images L5, L6 of the index projected on an imaged picture of the subject eye 28. The index projection means projects the index including a bright part and a dark part whose brightness is lower than that of the bright part, to the subject eye 28.
