PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capture device which stores a deep sea organism which is fished by a fishing yarn in a device in the sea, then cuts the fishing yarn for allowing the organism to freely swim in the device, and a capture method for capturing a deep sea organism without pulling up the organism from the sea using the capture device.SOLUTION: A capture device comprises: a first opening which is closed by a closing packing attached to a fishing yarn； cutting means for cutting the fishing yarn after the first opening is closed； a second opening for storing the fished deep sea organism； a closing lid for closing the second opening from inside of the capture device after storing the deep sea organism. A fishing yarn is suspended to the deep sea in a state of inserting the fishing yarn into the capture device, then the deep sea organism is fished and then the capture device is sunk in the sea, the fishing yarn is pulled and the deep sea organism is stored in the capture device and then the fishing yarn is cut after storing the deep sea organism in the capture device, for capturing the deep sea organism in a state in which the deep sea organism can freely swim or move in the capture device, in a capture method of a deep sea organism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】釣り糸で釣った深海生物を海中で装置内に収容したあと、釣り糸を切断することで装置内で自由に泳ぐことができるようにした捕獲装置と、この捕獲装置を使い海中から一度も引き上げることなく深海生物を捕獲できる捕獲方法を提供する。【解決手段】釣り糸に取り付けられた閉塞用パッキングによって塞がれる第１開口部と、第１開口部が塞がれたあと釣り糸を切る切断手段と、釣った深海生物を収容するための第２開口部と、深海生物を収容したあと捕獲装置の内側から第２開口部を塞ぐ閉塞蓋と、によって構成されている捕獲装置内を挿通させた状態で釣り糸を深海に垂らし、深海生物が釣れたら捕獲装置を海中に沈めた状態で、釣り糸を引いて深海生物を捕獲装置内に収容し深海生物を捕獲装置内に収容したら釣り糸を切断することで、深海生物が捕獲装置内を自由に泳いだり動き回る状態で深海生物を捕獲できることを特徴とする深海生物の捕獲装置とその捕獲方法。【選択図】図１
