The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for measuring biometric information in a vehicle using a UWB radar and, specifically, to an apparatus and a method for measuring biometric information in a vehicle using a UWB radar, wherein the apparatus and the method are capable of measuring biometric information of a driver in a vehicle in consideration of vibration of a vehicle and vibration of a driver and movement of the driver due to vibration of the vehicle. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: an ultra-wideband radar module for generating and transmitting an ultra-wideband pulse signal at regular cycles, generating source data by receiving the ultra-wideband pulse signal reflected from a human body, and outputting the source data； a preprocessing unit for preprocessing and outputting the source data； a peripheral signal removing unit for removing peripheral signals generated by movement of a driver and peripheral signals generated by vibration of a vehicle by receiving signals outputted from the preprocessing unit； and a human body position detecting unit for detecting an object by receiving an output signal of the peripheral signal removing unit, and checking presence in a human body by analyzing a respiration frequency at a position of each object.본 발명은 UWB 레이더를 이용한 차량내 생체 정보 측정 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 차량의 진동과, 차량의 진동에 의한 운전자의 진동 그리고 운전자의 움직임을 고려하여 차량내에 운전자의 생체 정보를 측정할 수 있도록 하는 UWB 레이더를 이용한 차량내 생체 정보 측정 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.또한, 본 발명에 따르면, 일정 주기로 초광대역 펄스 신호를 생성하여 전송하고, 인체에서 반사된 초광대역 펄스 신호를 수신하여 원시 데이터를 생성하여 출력하는 초광대역 레이더 모듈； 상기 원시 데이터를 전처리하여 출력하는 전처리부； 상기 전처리부로부터 출력된 신호를 입력받아 운전자의 움직임에 의해 발생된 주변 신호와, 차량의 진동에 의해 발생된 주변 신호를 제거하는 주변 신호 제거부； 및 상기 주변 신호 제거부의 출력 신호를 입력받아 물체를 감지하고, 각 물체의 위치에서 호흡 주파수를 분석해 인체 유무를 확인하는 인체 위치 감지부를 포함하는 UWB 레이더를 이용한 차량내 생체 정보 측정 장치 및 방법을 제공한다.
