A system for the identification of sources of Irrigation includes a source of Irrigation, a Image Forming device and a Processor. The Irrigation Source includes a container for containing an amount of irrigating Fluid, and a Port fluidly connected to the container. The Port has an output end and a Neck.The Neck has a Plurality of Projections of a selected Group of Projections. The Plurality of projections provides a unique identifier for the container. An image Forming Device obtains Images of the neck and the Plurality of Projections of the source of Irrigation, and the Processor determines which identifier is associated with the image.Un sistema de identificación de fuentes de irrigación incluye una fuente de irrigación, un dispositivo formador de imágenes y un procesador.
