PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot placement base that allows a foot placement plate (foot placement member) not to easily come off, is convenient and safe in movement and storage, and can change an angle.SOLUTION: A foot placement base 1 includes: right and left support members 2, 3 and a foot placement member 5 supported by the right and left support members 2, 3. The foot placement member 5 includes one-end side engagement projections 51 that are arranged to the right and left of one end parts in a front and rear direction and are projected outward in a right and left direction. The respective right and left support members 2, 3 include groove-shape or groove hole shape one-end side slide grooves 21, 31 at one end parts in the front and rear direction, to which the one-end side engagement projections 51 are slidably fitted. The one-end side slide grooves 21, 31 include vertical slide grooves 22, 32 extending in a vertical direction and multiple horizontal slide grooves 23, 33 extending from the vertical slide grooves 22, 32 by varying the respective height positions.
