PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for radiation sterilization treatment which exhibits a high adsorption effect to an odor generated at the sterilization treatment, which holds superior heat sealability, which shows easy peelability, and which can be produced at a low cost and to provide a package made of the same.SOLUTION: In a packaging material for radiation sterilization treatment comprising a laminate having at least a base material layer and a heat seal layer, the heat seal layer has an odor adsorptive heat seal layer and an easily peelable heat seal layer becoming an innermost layer, and the odor adsorptive heat seal layer is made of a heat sealable resin containing an odor adsorbent. A package made of the packaging material for radiation sterilization treatment is also provided.
