A preferred modular microplasma microchannel reactor device is disposed relative to the electrodes for plasma generation and comprises a microchannel array isolated from the electrodes by a dielectric. The cover covers the central portion of the microchannel array, exposing the ends of the microchannel array. A gas inlet and a product outlet are arranged to allow flow into the microchannel array, through the microchannel array, and out of the microchannel array. The reactor modules of the present invention comprise a plurality of modular reactor devices. The reactor devices may be arranged to be fluidly connected by a housing or a frame. The systems of the present invention arrange a plurality of modules. Preferred module housings, frames, and reactors include structural elements to form alignments and connections. Preferred modules include fans to circulate the feed and reaction products.
