PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for appropriately evaluating the degree of recovery of physical exhaustion.SOLUTION: A tilt angle of a thread mill is fixed within a range of 5-25°, and a subject animal is made to perform running exercise in which the speed is increased within a range of 1-10 cm/sec for every 1-10 minutes. The speed when the subject animal cannot run any more is decided as a first limit running speed, and the time as a first limit running time. After 10 minute to 6 hour intermission, the subject animal is made to perform running exercise in the tread mill similar to the previous exercise, and the speed when the subject animal cannot run any more is decided as a second limit running speed, and the time as a second limit running time. The recovery degree from fatigue of the subject animal is evaluated based on values of the first limit running speed and the second limit running seed, or values of the first limit running time and the second limit running time.【課題】肉体疲労の回復度合いを適正に評価する方法を提供する。【解決手段】トレッドミルの傾斜角を5~25°の範囲で固定し、被験動物に1~10分毎に1~10cm/秒の範囲で速度を上げていく走行運動を行わせ、該被験動物が走れなくなった時の速度を第1限界走行速度、時間を第1限界走行時間と定め、その後10分~6時間の休憩時間を挟んで、再び該被験動物に前記と同様のトレッドミルによる走行運動を行わせて、該被験動物が走れなくなった時の速度を第2限界走行速度、時間を第2限界走行時間と定めと定め、該第1限界走行速度と該第2限界走行速度の値または該第1限界走行時間と該第2限界走行時間の値から、該被験動物の疲労の回復度合いを評価する方法。【選択図】なし
