System and methods for testing and/or training a subjects visual perception span and/or speed are provided. More specifically, a method may include testing/training various aspects of the subjects visual perception span/speed through the use of assessments that test the subjects ability to receive and retain information that is flashed in front of them. By using various assessments, an efficient examination may be administered.
