PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem although to supply water to a flowerpot and the like, there are ways of such as direct manual water supply from top, automatic water supply at set time using a timer, use of a pot which has a bottom surface suppliable of water by hanging a water supply string from inside the pot soil, and a production farmhouse method in which a lower portion of a pot is intermittently immersed in water, each way has its problem.SOLUTION: Provided is a flowerpot base in which: water conduction grooves with narrow width are provided longitudinally and laterally on a base board on which a pot and the like is placed at positions where the grooves intersect each other, space for setting a water supply support is provided and at arbitral ends of the grooves, ports for connecting tubes for supplying and discharging water are provided. Also provided is a method for cultivating a plant, wherein in the flowerpot base, the water supply supports having high water absorption made of sponge and the like are inserted to the spaces for setting water supply supports and bottom surface water supply is performed by laying a water supply sheet thereon.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】植木鉢等の給水には、上部からの直接手動給水、タイマーを使った定時自動給水、鉢土中から給水紐を垂らした底面給水鉢の使用、鉢下部を間欠的に水中に漬ける生産農家方式等があるが、それぞれに問題があった。【解決手段】 鉢等を乗せる台盤に幅の狭い通水溝を縦横に配置し、溝の交叉位置に給水柱設置スペースを設け、任意の溝端には給排水用のチューブ接続口を設けた植木鉢台を提供する。また、上記植木鉢台に於いて、給水柱設置スペースにスポンジ等の吸水性の高い給水柱を挿入し、その上に給水シートを敷設して底面給水させる植物栽培方法を提案する【選択図】図1
