A row unit (10) for an implement is provided comprising a bushing assembly having a bushing (42, 142, 242) and a mounting bolt (44) for mounting a pivot arm (36), wherein the bushing (42, 142, 242) has both a threaded portion (62, 162, 262) as well as one or two smooth cylindrical portions (64, 66, 164, 266). The threaded portion (62, 162, 262) enables the pivot arm (36) to be a laterally adjusted by rotating the bushing (42, 142, 242) while the smooth portion (64, 66, 164, 266) or portions (64, 66, 164, 266) provide a bearing surface or surfaces for the pivot arm (36) loads. This removes the load from the threads (63), reducing wear of both the bushing (42, 142, 242) and the pivot arm (36), thereby reducing maintenance cost.
