PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent volatilizing device for preventing cockroach intrusion which, though a volatile agent is volatilized intermittently over a long period of time, can stably maintain a comparatively low-concentration effective agent concentration in the surrounding space during a use period, and can prevent cockroaches, etc. from intruding in the space, and which is excellent in safety for humans and pets, and advantageous in saving a drive power.SOLUTION: An agent volatilizing device for preventing cockroach intrusion includes an agent carrier by which a volatile agent is carried, and a drive device for rotating the agent carrier and volatilizing the volatile agent in a space by centrifugal force, drives the drive device intermittently on condition that the ratio of the drive time to the stop time is 1:5-1:25, and one drive time is 1-5 minutes, stably maintains effective agent concentration of the volatile agent in a space of 20 mor less from the start of use to the end of use, and prevents cockroaches from intruding in the space so that the repelling rate after a lapse of 20 days is 70% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
