PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator capable of restraining or preventing time-serial decoloration after discoloration.
SOLUTION: This indicator for detecting a hot water temperature is formed with (1) a heat-sensitive discoloration layer containing an electron-donating compound and an electron-accepting compound, (2) a transparent protection layer, (3) an adhesive layer, and (4) a laminate film, in this order, on a base material, the heat-sensitive discoloration layer is sealed with the base material and the transparent protection layer, and the heat-sensitive discoloration layer is separated from the adhesive layer via the transparent protection layer.
