Ashaft havingan end effector assembly disposed at a distal end thereof and a plungerdisposed at a proximalend thereof is selectively translatable between a first position and a secondposition, whereinthe end effector assembly extends from the sleeve. An articulation mechanismis configuredto articulate the end effector assembly relative to the shaft. A specimenretrieval bag iscoupled to the end effector assembly and is deployable to an extended positionuponmovement of the end effector assembly to the second position.
