PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition that sufficiently suppresses a peculiar unpleasant odor of component in spite of containing a pearl protein extract, a yeast extract or a hydrolyzed collagen.
SOLUTION: The composition includes at least one selected from the group consisting of a pearl protein extract, a yeast extract and a hydrolyzed collagen and an extract of a plant (e.g. Psophocarpus tetragonolobus) of the genus Psophocarpus of the family Leguminosae. The composition sufficiently suppresses a peculiar unpleasant odor of component in spite of containing a compound such as a pearl protein extract, a yeast extract or a hydrolyzed collagen having a peculiar unpleasant odor since the composition contains the extract of the plant of the genus Psophocarpus of the family Leguminosae. Therefore, the composition is suitable for a cosmetic or a food and beverage.
