The present invention relates to a mixture including fresh ginseng for generating sauna steam by using fresh ginseng having high saponin content and a method for generating sauna steam using the same. According to the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: placing a mixture in a first mixture receiving unit disposed between a steam generation unit and a sauna space unit； allowing steam of high temperature generated from the steam generation unit to pass through the first mixture receiving unit so as to form steam including effective ingredients of the mixture placed in the first mixture receiving unit； and transferring the steam including the ingredients of the mixture to the sauna space unit.
