PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer by which a femoral component can be retained and released in a short period of time.SOLUTION: The retainer 1 for retaining a curved femoral component 90 for artificial knee joint with an outer surface 98 with right condylus and left condylus and an inner surface 96 facing the outer surface 98 includes: a pair of arms 10 with a hook 16 on each tip end to clip the femoral component 90 a table 20 positioned between the pair of arms 10 and a lever 30 to move cooperating with the arms 10 and the table 20.
