PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine which can be easily put into a harvesting work starting posture by automatic control, improve workability, and hardly causes an operational error, and whose engine speed can be arbitrarily adjusted by an operator.SOLUTION: A combine includes: an acceleration lever (acceleration means), a threshing clutch, a harvesting clutch, an engine rotation sensor 32 (engine rotation detection means) for detecting an engine rpm, a control part 31 (control means) for controlling harvesting work, and a work instruction operation lever 27 (operation means) for instructing start of work or end of work. The control part 31 executes control to put a combine into a harvesting work starting posture in which the engine is in a working rotational state in which the engine speed is a predetermined speed or more as a result of an operation of the engine by the acceleration lever, and in which the threshing clutch and the harvesting clutch are in an engaged state by an instruction of the work instruction operation lever 27 to start work.
