A drug pellet delivery system includes a housing (12) having a cavity (14). A cartridge (26) is positioned within the cavity (14) and includes a body (28) having a channel (44). The body (28) includes a first pair of rails (56) and a second pair of rails (58). A plunger (is slidably disposed in the housing (12) and the cartridge (26). The plunger is configured to move a drug depot through the channel (44) and out of the housing (12). Kits and methods of use are disclosed.
