The invention relates to a system for treating seeds, comprising a chamber (3) provided with a seedbed (4) for supporting a layer (5) of the seeds (2), a dehumidifier (60) for dehumidifying a gas, and a gas transport circuit (8). The circuit includes a first circuit part (8a) and a second circuit part (8b), both circuit parts interconnecting the chamber (3) to the dehumidifier (60). Further, the circuit includes a pump (9) for pumping the gas through the circuit for subsequently transporting the gas via the chamber, the first circuit part, the dehumidifier and the second circuit part back to the chamber. The dehumidifier comprises a container (6) containing, during use, zeolite particles.
