The housing (116) is configured to receive the implantable portion (130). The housing (116) is configured to provide a sterile packaging such that the implantable portion (130) is sealed against a surrounding environment. The housing (116) comprises at least one first part (118) and at least one second part (120). The first part (118) and the second part (120) are removable connectable to form the sterile packaging. The first part (118) comprises at least one first sealing surface (122) and the second part (120) comprises at least one second sealing surface (124). The first sealing surface (122) and the second sealing surface (124) interact to form a sealing area (126). The implantable device (128) has an interconnecting portion (134) connecting the implantable portion (130) and the contact portion (132). The interconnecting portion (134) is led through the sealing area (126).
