A user interface for use as part of a system for providing gases to a patient, comprising ahollow main body adapted for attachment to one end of a gases conduit to provide agases stream to the main body, a pair of nasal pillows fluidically connected tothe main body, the outer surface of the pillows adapted to seal against the nares ofthe patient, each one of the pillows divided into three separate passages, eachsealed from the others, the first passage configured to act in use as a gases deliverypassageway and connected to the main body so that gases from the conduit pass alongthe first passage, the second passage configured to act as a pressure measurementduct in use, and the third passage open to atmosphere and adapted to act as a high-flowbypass passage.
