PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the attachment and detachment of a battery case while enabling the battery case to be supported tightly on a body side.SOLUTION: The electric tiller includes a rotary part (R) for tilling a field, a motor (8) for driving the rotary part (R), a battery case (9) housing a battery as a power source of the motor (8), and a rotary cover (6) for covering upper part of the rotary part (R), wherein a cover (7) covers upper part of the motor (8), an opening (6b) is formed in the right and left center part of the rotary cover (6), and the battery case (9) is detachably inserted into the opening (6b).
