Compounds of formula (I) and their pharmaceutical and food grade acceptable salts, for use in the prevention and/or treatment of NAFLD (non-alcoholic fat liver disease) or NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis), and related symptoms and/or associated pathologies thereof are described.
