An apparatus for the treatment of slaughter animals, comprising: a frame (3) for restraining at least one animal (2) to be treated so as to keep still said animal (2) in a preset position a pressing member (10) for pressing at least one region (11) to be treated of said animal (2) disposed within said restraining frame (3) and motor means (21) of said pressing member (10) for driving said pressing member (10) along a preset path corresponding to the region (11) of the animal (2) to be treated.
