PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter improving workability and operatability by making it possible to change a distance and positions of right and left grip parts.SOLUTION: In a bush cutter having a shaft 7 which transmits the power of an engine and in which a tool is attached to the distal end of the same and a handle arranged in a middle position of the shaft 7, a right side handle pipe 2A and a left side handle pipe 2B are independently formed, and are fixed to the shaft 7 by a handle holding means (3, 4, 5) having two sets of receiving seat grooves 3A, 4A and 3B, 4B holding the same. The receiving seat grooves 3A, 3A, 4A, 4B are formed so as to have axial lines in a direction perpendicular to the shaft 7, the grip parts 1A, 1B can be adjusted in arrow directions 15, 16.
