PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of gap bridge plates improved in durability of its passage surfaces during repeated use.SOLUTION: There is provided a pair of gap bridge plates 3a, 3b whose top surfaces are passage surfaces on which a user can pass. Each of the gap bridge plates 3a, 3b comprises: a top plate material 13 and a back plate material 15 which are arranged opposite to each other and a foamed resin-made intermediate plate material 17 which is interposed between the top and back plate materials 13, 15. The top plate material 13 consists of a thin plate at least a top surface constituting the passage surface of which, is made of a metal and which possesses a higher rigidity than that of the back plate material 15. The back plate material 15 consists of a thin plate which is made of a resin which possesses a higher toughness than that of the top plate material 13.
