609333 Disclosed is an apparatus when used for vaporising one or more volatile components within a solid or liquid fumigant. The apparatus includes a container vessel (2) for receiving and holding a substantially liquefied or substantially solidified fumigant or fumigant mixture and input means (4) for introducing the fumigant or fumigant mixture to the container vessel (2). Heating means (7) are operatively associated with the container vessel (2) to heat the fumigant or fumigant mixture substantially to or above its boiling point. Control means (6) are operatively associated with the heating means (7) and the container vessel (2). Output means (11) expel a substantially volatilised fumigant upon reaching its boiling point.
