According to an embodiment of the invention, a sterilizing charger of a mobile terminal comprises: a housing having a connection surface facing a charging terminal of a terminal and an upward surface inclined upwardly from an upper end of one surface so as to face an upper surface of the terminal； an insertion terminal provided on one surface of the housing, protruding from one surface of the housing so as to be inserted into the charging terminal, and supplying current to the terminal； a sterilizing lamp provided inside the housing and irradiating the terminal with sterilizing light through the upward surface of the housing； and a controller electrically connected to the sterilizing lamp and the insertion terminal. The controller receives a charging state of the terminal through the insertion terminal, and when the terminal is being charging, switches to a sterilization mode allowing current supply to the sterilizing lamp, and when the terminal is completely charged, switches to a standby mode to cut off the current supply. The present invention can minimize unnecessary power consumption.본 발명의 일 실시예에 의하면, 모바일 단말기의 살균 충전기는, 단말기의 충전단자와 대향되는 접속면과, 상기 단말기의 상부면과 대향되도록 상기 일면의 상단으로부터 상향경사진 상향면을 가지는 하우징； 상기 하우징의 일면에 설치되며, 상기 하우징의 일면으로부터 돌출되어 상기 충전단자에 삽입되고 상기 단말기에 전류를 공급하는 삽입단자； 상기 하우징의 내부에 설치되며, 상기 하우징의 상기 상향면을 통해 상기 단말기로 살균광을 조사하는 살균램프； 그리고 상기 살균램프 및 상기 삽입단자에 전기적으로 연결되는 제어기를 포함하며, 상기 제어기는 상기 삽입단자를 통해 상기 단말기의 충전상태를 수신하며, 상기 단말기가 충전중인 경우 상기 살균램프에 대한 전류공급을 허용하는 살균모드로 전환하고 상기 단말기가 충전완료인 경우 상기 살균램프에 대한 전류공급을 차단하는 대기모드로 전환한다.
