Abstract - 600852 Disclosed herein a method of deterring a marsupial from browsing on plant material including the step of applying to said plant material or at a locality thereof an effective amount of a composition comprising pyrethrum or at least one pyrethroid. Also disclosed is a composition for repelling a marsupial which is in the form of a sprayable aqueous formulation, said composition comprising an effective amount of pyrethrum or at least one pyrethroid, diatomaceous earth, and a suitable carrier or diluent, wherein the composition comprises 10 0.1 g/L of the pyrethrum or at least one pyrethroid.
