PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device for simply and safely performing assistance from both right and left sides when two persons assist the movement of a cared person or an elderly person, etc. in stairs or on a slope.SOLUTION: A transfer device for caring is the transfer device for transferring a cared person by two carers and enabling the weight of a cared person to distribute to the backs and shoulders of the two carers and enabling progress while nearly facing a progress direction, where a shaped seat 1, shoulder belts 3 attached to a backrest 2 and the seat 1, embracing bands 5, a protective band, and backrest adjusting bands 6, etc. are defined as main components. The transfer device includes: buckles 7 for adjusting the lengths of the shoulder belts 3 to perform adjustment depending on the respective body types of a cared person and carers and the adjusting bands 6 arranged in connection parts between the shoulder belts 3 and the backrest 2 in order to perform length adjustment with the use of loop fasteners 8 and 8. The transfer device includes the embracing bands in order to prevent a cared person from slipping off the seat 1.
