The invention relates inter alia to cosmetic compositions comprising an oligoester ammonium salt (OAS) and a cosmetically component (F), where the OAS is obtained by: (i) heating a mixture of the following components (a) to (d) under continuously removing of reaction water: (a) a certain a diethanolamine compound (b) a certain dicarboxylic acid (c) a certain organic triol and a monocarboxylic acid of formula R1-COOH (d), wherein R1 is linear or branched C12-C24-alkyl (ii) reacting the oligoester of step (i) with a quarternization agent.Linvention concerne entre autres des compositions cosmétiques contenant un sel dammonium doligoester (OAS) et un constituant cosmétique (F), où lOAS est obtenu par : (i) chauffage dun mélange des constituants (a) à (d) suivants sous élimination continue de leau de réaction : (a) un certain composé diéthanolamine (b) un certain acide dicarboxylique (c) un certain triol organique et un acide monocarboxylique de formule R1-COOH (d), dans laquelle R1 est un alkyle linéaire ou ramifié en C12-C24 (ii) réaction de loligoester de létape (i) avec un agent de quaternisation.
