Disclosed is a method of preparing a composition by mixing a sweetener and an ingredient, pressing the sweetener and ingredient together to form a pressed mixture in the form of a sheet, briquette, pellet, flake or other form, and reducing the pressed mixture to yield a composition. The composition comprises particulates having a desirable size, where a particulate comprises the ingredient at least partially embedded within the sweetener.
