There is provided an animal bedding waste bag sealer apparatus(10) for sealing bags of waste animal bedding and a system and method for disposal of waste animal bedding from animal housings. The apparatus comprises a substantially planar body (12) with an upper face (14), a lower face (15) and two opposing side walls (18) mounted between the upper and lower faces. An opening (20) is arranged in the planar body (12) that can accommodate a bag to be sealed. The apparatus has first (24) and second (25) sealing members located between the upper face (14) and the lower face (15) of the planar body (12) orientated substantially parallel to each other. Each sealing member (24)(25) further comprising an upper sealing portion (40), a lower sealing portion (42) and a cutting portion (44), the cutting portion (44) arranged between said upper (40) and lower (42) sealing portions.
