PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing fall, in which a worker climbs a tree carrying only two winding/fastening rope bodies, and forms anchors one after the other using the winding/fastening rope bodies, thereby surely preventing the worker from falling from the tree and also reducing the burden of weight on the worker.SOLUTION: A method for preventing fall during work on tree uses: a long rope 2 for use in a double rope technique in which a length-adjustable ring-shaped rope portion Ro is formed at a position on the long rope 2 through a length adjuster 6 and at least two winding/fastening rope bodies 3, 4 with opening/closing couplers 8 each of which is wound around and fastened to a required part of the trunk Ta of a tree T to form an anchor for the double rope technique.
