FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Device for diagnosing and correcting a locomotor dysfunction comprises a frame, a mirror, a backlight, a digital photo-video camera, a monitor, a computer, software and two support movable modules with a control drive system. Each of the modules is equipped with strain gauges for fixation of patient's body center of gravity, planes of supports made of optically transparent material. Under planes of supports with angle of inclination there is a mirror, which provides the possibility, when changing the position of support plane, to see changes of foot surface footprints and allowing for fixation and dynamic control by means of digital photo-video camera and computer. Method for diagnosing and correcting a locomotor dysfunction involves a diagnostic stage and a corrective stage. Diagnostic stage consists in determining the shape of the feet in a direct parallel setting on the horizontal plane, determining the position of the common center of gravity of the body, assessing the position of the pelvic bones by the X-ray image and assessing the position of the patient's body by external reference points. Correction stage consists in determination of influence of changes of position of planes of supports of device on position of common center of gravity of body, on position of pelvic bones on X-ray picture and change of patient's body position on external reference points and preparation of treatment scheme on the basis of obtained data, which allows to preserve result of correction. When diagnosing with the device for diagnosing and correcting the locomotor dysfunction, the patient, in underwear, with bare feet are put on the support modules located in one horizontal plane, are installed in a straight-parallel position, heels at one level, feet on the width of the hips, front-rear axes of feet and center of calcaneal region – second beam are strictly parallel, fixed by side thrust frames, and using strain
