PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has fast absorption speed for absorbing blood, which hardly gives discomfort to a wearer, and which has preferable wearing feeling.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 has an absorbent core 41 which is a long shape in a cross direction, and has an excretion part facing part B which is arranged to face a liquid excretion part of a wearer. The absorbent article 1 has a hemagglutination agent 8. The absorbent article 41 has, on the excretion part facing part B, a thin recess 43 which is not jointed to a surface sheet 2.
