There is an inflow portdisposed proximate to a first end of the microchannel and an outflow portdisposed proximate to a second end of the microchannel, wherein the inflowport is configured such that when the implantable shunt is implanted, theinflow port is located about approximately within the region of an angle of ananterior chamber.
