The present invention provides a process of controlling certain broadleaved weeds, by applying an herbicidally effective amount of a combination comprising Glufosinate and another active ingredient selected from aryloxy phenoxy propionic acid. Further, there is provided a process of controlling certain broadleaved weeds by applying herbicidally effective amount of a combination of Glufosinate and another active ingredient selected from aryloxy phenoxy propionic acid in broadleaved weeds wherein effective weed control could not be achieved by application of Glufosinate alone.
