PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ophthalmic equipment achieving shortening of a measurement time.SOLUTION: The ophthalmic equipment includes: an eye examination part which examines or measures an eye to be examined; X, Y, and Z motors 400-402 moving the eye examination part back and forth, and up and down; a position detection means 304A measuring a position of the eye examination part; a flickering detection means 304B detecting flickering of the eye to be examined; and a calculation control device 304 controlling the X, Y, and Z motors 400-402 based upon the measurement position measured by the position detection means 304A and an alignment completion position, the calculation control device 304 causing the eye examination part to move toward the alignment completion position by controlling the X, Y, and Z motors 400-402 based upon a measurement result of the position detection means 304A, when the flickering detection means 304B detects no flickering. When the flickering detection means 304B detects flickering, the calculation control device 304 moves the eye examination part by controlling the X, Y, and Z motors 400-402 based upon measurement data of the position detection means 304A obtained right before the flickering is detected.
